Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 12/05/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Appartamenti Tione ("we", "us", "our") collects and processes personal data through this website (the "Site"). The Site is an informational showcase of our holiday apartments — CAV Chiara and CAV Paolo, located in Tione di Trento (Italy) — and does not handle bookings or payments directly. Reservations are made through third-party booking platforms accessible via external links on the Site.
We process personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (as amended).

How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:
- Service providers acting as data processors on our behalf — in particular our hosting and infrastructure provider (Vercel Inc.), our email provider, and, where applicable, analytics providers. These parties are bound by a data processing agreement and may only process data following our instructions.
- Public authorities, where disclosure is required by law or to defend our legal rights.
When you click an external booking link (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com or similar), you leave our Site and your data is then processed by the relevant platform under its own privacy policy. We have no control over those platforms.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Retention
- Contact form messages and email correspondence: retained for the time needed to handle your request and, where useful, for up to 24 months afterwards for follow-up purposes, then deleted.
- Technical logs: typically retained for a short period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.
- Analytics data: retained in aggregated/pseudonymised form according to the tool's default retention settings.
We may retain data for longer where required by law (e.g. tax or accounting obligations).
Cookies
The Site uses:
- Technical cookies strictly necessary for the Site to function. These do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies, if enabled, only after you have given consent through the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time from your browser settings.
We do not use cookies for profiling or behavioural advertising.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability;
- withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
To exercise these rights, please contact us at appartamentitione@gmail.com. We will reply within the time limits set by the GDPR (normally within one month).
Data Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and a limited number of authorised persons handling enquiries.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, together with its Effective Date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
